Anything that you expose yourself to continually, will eventually develop in your life.  Proverbs 13:20 says that when you make yourselves a companion with someone wise you will become wise but if you make yourself a companion with a fool you will be destroyed. 
Companionship regulates your life! It is a law, a governor. The people, places and things that you expose yourself to, will develop in your life. When the disciples were threatened by the religious leaders in Acts 4, they responded by saying, “we are unable to stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.”
