Jesus said that it is inevitable but that offences will come. The word offence in the original text means a stumbling block or the trigger of a trap. In other words, there will be many opportunities for you to be offended. But you don’t have to fall victim to Satan’s traps. Jesus said, “Blessed is he whosoever shall not be offended in Me.” The word blessed includes happiness, wellness, prosperity, favor, and safety. You can learn to brush off the offence and live in God’s blessings.
